You will get a schedule letter via email and mail if you are not already scheduled for a class with us. You register by purchasing the class, and you will get an email confirmation of your purchase with the ability to download additional class information. You will get an email the week of class with a form that must be completed prior to the class. If you do not see an email from us in your inbox, please check your spam folder & contact us with any issues.
You will be emailed a Zoom link before class. If you need closed captions in English, Spanish, etc, this feature will be accessible each class. Subtitles can be activated in 80+ languages! Email us with any questions or concerns.
Tenemos una función en Zoom que traduce al instructor. Si el inglés no es su primera lengua, Zoom traducirá la clase al español.
Make sure your device is fully charged and your charger is accessible during the class. You can download Zoom, but it is not necessary to access the class. You need a device with with a mic and camera (smart phone, tablet, computer). Please set aside time for this class as you can not access the class from a car or while working/multitasking. If you're new to Zoom, we recommend testing your device before class at: www.zoom.com/test
Access the class on time and stay on camera the entire class, outside of breaks. You should be in a private setting. Sitting at a desk or table is requested, like to any online class or virtual training.
The online class should be treated the same as if you were sitting in our classroom.
The curriculum covers a vast amount of information in the two day class. You are required to be present on camera watching the class; there is not a test at the end. Topics include DUI laws, substance use and abuse, psychoeducation, psychosocial aspects of substance use, harm reduction techniques, and healthy coping skills.
That is our goal! The Gloucester & Camden County IDRC is operated by a dually licensed counselor and the instructor of the class has a degree in education and counseling. We maintain a judgement-free zone; respect from both staff and participants is top priority. Our goal is to provide education and to assist you in satisfying your IDRC requirements.

Often there are questions about the class or your case. Email or text for a fast response!
